1199SEIU nurses mourn the passing of Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr.

Statement from George Gresham, President of 1199SEIU, and Milly Silva, Secretary-Treasurer of 1199SEIU, on the passing of Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr.:

“We are devastated to learn that Congressman Bill Pascrell Jr. passed away this morning, and we extend our deepest condolences to the Pascrell family. The nursing staff of 1199SEIU and all professionals lost a true hero today. Nursing home residents and the staff who care for them could always count on Rep. Pascrell to fight alongside us for quality care. He consistently stood by the side of workers in New Jersey and across the country, and his loss is deeply felt. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.”
