4 people arrested and drugs confiscated after traffic stop in Ogdensburg

OGDENSBURG, New York (WWNY) – Four people were arrested on drug charges during a traffic stop in Ogdensburg.

State police stopped a car on New York Avenue on Monday.

They say 33-year-old Nathaniel Picardi of Greene, New York, was in possession of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, a scale and plastic bags.

He was accused of:

  • 2 counts of second degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • 2 counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree
  • Criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree
  • Resisting arrest
  • Obstruction of government administration

According to court documents, Picardi fled on foot when the drugs were found. He was taken into custody.

He was arraigned in Canton Municipal Court and is being held without bail in the St. Lawrence County Jail.

According to court documents, Picardi possessed more than 113 grams of cocaine, fentanyl and meth.

Two other people in the vehicle were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

They were:

  • Miranda Graham, 37, of Hillsdale, New York
  • Emily Dziamba, 36, from Hudson, New York
  • 41-year-old Naomi Greene from Elizaville, New York

The women received a ticket and were released.

The State Police were assisted by the Ogdensburg Police Department.
