Deputies search for shooting suspect

ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) – The York County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in identifying those responsible for a series of shootings that occurred over the past two weeks in the area of ​​Ogden Road and Rambo Road in Rock Hill.

Officials said three homes were shot at and six other calls were received reporting gunshots in the area between August 9 and 17.

“These incidents are not only irresponsible, but incredibly dangerous and we need the public's help to ensure those responsible are brought to justice,” said Sheriff Kevin Tolson. “Any information, no matter how small, could be critical to our investigation.”

Anonymous tips leading to an arrest may be recognized with a reward through Crime Stoppers of York County.
