“College Football 25” reaches prestigious milestone just one month after release

The return of EA Sports’ college football video game this summer should be an event, given the franchise’s ten-year hiatus and the considerable cult following that has grown around NCAA Football 14 During this time.

New sales figures for video games now confirm that College Football 25was actually an event.

College Football 25 is the best-selling video game in the US since the beginning of the year, as confirmed by sales figures released on Wednesday by market research company Circana. The game, which has only been on the market since July 19, displaced the third-person shooter game Helldivers 2which came out on February 8th.

In addition, Mat Piscatella, CEO and consultant to the video game industry, said: College Football 25 has already “tripled the total sales of the best-selling college football game to date, NCAA Football 07.”

With such success, it's safe to assume there will be a college football video game to delight (and frustrate) fans for years to come.
