Crazy nephew beats aunt to death in her New York apartment: police

A crazy nephew threw a fit of rage and beat his aunt to death with a broom during an argument at the woman's house on Tuesday, authorities and sources report.

Alexander Fleming, 29, and his aunt Juanita Dallas were arguing at the Jamaica family home on 164th Street near 108th Street around 10:30 p.m. when Fleming suddenly hit his aunt on the head with the broom, police and sources said.

Dallas was taken to North Shore University Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries, police said.

Fleming was arrested later that evening and charged with first-degree murder, assault with a weapon and illegal possession of a firearm, police said.

Law enforcement sources said he has been arrested 10 times, but details were not immediately available.
