Remains of missing woman Dee Warner identified, death ruled a homicide

LENAWEE COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) – The body of Michigan native Dee Warner has been found after more than three years of absence, Michigan State Police confirmed Wednesday.

On Friday, August 16, human remains were found on the property of Dale Warner, Dee's husband. Dee had planned to divorce Dale before her disappearance.

On Wednesday, the remains were determined to be Dee's. Michigan State Police ruled her death a homicide.

The exact cause of death is unknown. The investigation is still ongoing.

Dee Warner was last seen over 1,200 days ago in a barn on Paragon Road in Lenawee County.

The Michigan State Police had previously stated that the body found was additional evidence that could be used in the criminal case against Dale Warner, since he had already been arrested.
