Man from Pierre Part arrested for road rage – KQKI News

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Robert C. Watson, 33, of 3046 Highway 70 South, Pierre Part, LA, for assault in connection with a traffic accident that occurred in the early morning hours of August 17, 2024 on Lee Drive in Pierre Part.

Uniformed patrol officers were dispatched to an address in the 100 block of Joseph Street to report an assault. Officers made contact with the complainant/victim, who advised that he was on Lee Drive on the day in question when he flashed his high beams at a vehicle to signal the driver to dim his headlights. As he passed the vehicle, the victim noticed it was a side-by-side SUV. The suspect turned around and drove to Angella Street where he confronted the victim. The suspect, now identified as Robert C. Watson, struck the victim in the face through the open window. As a result of this incident, the victim sustained significant facial injuries that required medical attention.

At the end of this investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for Robert C. Watson.

On Tuesday evening, Robert C. Watson was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center. He was charged with the following:

*Second degree battery

Robert C. Watson remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
