Man allegedly exposed himself in front of children

BROOKLAND, Arkansas (KAIT) – Police have arrested a man who they say exposed himself in front of several children.

Detective Dustin Norwood of the Brookland Police Department said that on Monday, August 19, at approximately 3:26 p.m., officers became aware of a man exposing himself to children as he walked past a home in the 300 block of School Street.

According to a press release, Officer Kade Carter went to the scene and made contact with the suspect, 37-year-old Michael Darril Tramble of Brookland.

“During the conversation, Tramble told Officer Carder that he exposed himself at the window of the house,” Norwood said. “After speaking with the complainant and the victim, Officer Carder arrested Tramble for public nuisance.”

An investigation revealed that five children were identified and all made incriminating statements against Tramble.

Tramble is being held at the Craighead County Detention Center on $50,000 cash or surety bail on five counts of public indecency.

On Wednesday, August 21, a judge ordered that if Tramble is released from prison, he cannot live within one mile of a school or daycare and must wear a GPS ankle bracelet.
