PORT ANGELES – The Port Angeles Community Players' Children's Theater presents “Murder Most Fowl” Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

The crime thriller will be performed at the Port Angeles Community Playhouse, 1235 E. Lauridsen Blvd.

Tickets are $10 per person and $5 for children and are available at www.pacommunityplayers.org or at the door.

The play was written by Craig Sodaro and directed by Olivia Wray, a former student of the Children's Theater.

The cast includes Lily Arrington, Olivia Biddle, Emma Briggance, Caroline Brown, Axel Coughenour, Alix Hain, Alivia Halverson, Evelyn Halverson, Alex Herring, Liam Irwin, Kai Lachner, Zea Kasten, Noah Larsen, McHenry Miller, Mitlda Redlin, Kinsley Shrout, Aubrey Tanner, Henry Wendel, Isaac Wendel, Piper Wikert, Grace Williams and Selena Zhang.

“This show has been an incredible journey,” said Wray. “I've really enjoyed following the process of putting this show together.”

In the crime thriller, chefs from around the world have gathered at Pickachick High School to take part in an international chicken cooking competition sponsored by Captain Curry, founder of the Chicken Hut restaurant chain.

The competition, which is to be televised on Let's Eat Network, descends into chaos when the favorite chef, Frank Fricassee, is found dead and his top-secret recipe goes missing.

Newspaper reporters Burgundy and Carla will work with the studio audience and students at the school to uncover evidence and uncover the motives of many suspects to identify the killer.

The studio audience will name the murderer, who may be a different person at each performance.
