4 injured in shooting outside West Philly store, police say – NBC10 Philadelphia

Four men were injured when gunmen fired shots outside a West Philadelphia store late Wednesday night, police said.

According to investigators, the shooting occurred at 10:48 p.m. in the 4000 block of Lancaster Avenue.

According to Philadelphia Police Inspector Michael Gormley, at least two armed men fired shots outside a store at 4086 Lancaster Avenue, ran east on Lancaster Avenue and fired more shots at men standing in an outdoor vestibule at 4078 Lancaster Avenue.

The suspects then fled in an easterly direction. According to police, they fired a total of around 30 shots.

Four men were injured in the shooting. Police found three of the victims at the scene and a fourth victim was hospitalized with a gunshot wound.

According to police, all four victims are in critical but stable condition.

Police are searching the area to see if they can find surveillance video of the shooting. They have not released descriptions of the suspects.

The quadruple shooting ended a day of violence in Philadelphia that began with three shootings that left six people injured early Wednesday morning.
