The Russian domestic intelligence service FSB has initiated criminal proceedings against a CNN journalist and Ukrainian correspondents from the Hromadske channel who filmed reports during the raid by Ukrainian forces in the Sudzha district of the Kursk region.

They are accused of illegally crossing the border, Ukrinform reports, citing RFE/RL.

According to the FSB, foreign reporters face up to five years in prison.
