BJD leader Pranab Balabantaray in trouble after accusation of land grabbing

The problems of former BJD MP Pranab Balabantaray worsened after allegations of land grabbing were made against him.

The Jajpur Collector was accused of fraudulently acquiring government land in Naugaon under Dharmasala Tehsil by Balabantaray.

After these allegations became known, the tax office began the first survey of the area on Thursday to demarcate the government land.

“I have made allegations against our former MP Pranab Balabantaray that he encroached on state forests and grazing lands to build his luxury building,” said Alok Lenka, a local resident.

“Former MP Pranab Balabantaray has cultivated forest and pasture land. Following the allegations against him in this regard, the revenue department has carried out an initial survey of the land,” said Sribatsa Dey, another local resident.
