The mother of two is very supportive of her daughter's career and often posts snapshots of the star on social media.

Katya posted a gorgeous throwback photo on Instagram for her mom Kim's birthday and the beauty's linked Instagram features some stunning photos of her.

The 35-year-old professional dancer Katya also posted a family photo showing her young mother carrying her as a baby in a sling on her back.

In the snapshot, Katya's mother wore nothing but trousers and a vest and had her hair tied back in a messy bun.

As a small baby, wrapped in a white blanket, Katja looked adorable.

The Strictly star captioned the sweet post: “She carried me in her belly, on her back, she carried me through good times and bad. @kimtospb

“Happy birthday, Mom! Thank you for giving me everything I needed to go out into this wild world. Even when you thought I wouldn't listen to you as an introverted teenager, I did.

“When you were running around, working so hard, making my costumes, driving me everywhere so I could keep dancing – you never heard me say it out loud, but I appreciate it all. The passion you bring to every day, your perseverance, your hunger and your joy for life is truly inspiring.

And the 2017 Strictly winner seems to take after her mother, who shared a birthday post on Instagram last year that showed off her age-defying figure.

Kim shared a video montage of several snapshots, including some of her posing in a skimpy leotard and high heels.

In an Instagram snapshot from her birthday party in May (picture taken on May 24), the professional dancer looks like the spitting image of her mother.

She sat on a black stool and presented her toned legs in the one-piece.

In another snapshot, Katya's doppelganger, her mother, posed in a bra and pants set and showed off her cleavage.

She completed her look with bright red lips but wore her long, dark hair down.

In one photo, the ballroom dancer's mother posed wearing only a leopard-print sheet and showed off her long legs.

The stunning throwback snaps were taken after Katya declared that she was unlucky in love.

The professional dancer recently revealed that she has turned her back on dating apps because men are constantly asking her for dance lessons.

Katya, still single, is now considering freezing her eggs as she is having difficulty finding the right man.

She told MoS: “I'm on Hinge, I've been on Raya, this is all bullshit.”

Katya joined Strictly in 2016 and has just returned to the studio for the upcoming series (pictured with Nigel Harman in last year's show).

The dancer has been single since she split from fellow ballroom dancer and Strictly professional Neil Jones in 2019 after six years of marriage (pictured 2019).

“It's just crappy pick-up lines. The worst is when they say, 'Oh, can you teach me to dance?' Things like that. And that's an immediate no.”

The star says she and Neil are still friends and “share a dog,” but because she's desperate to become a mother, she's considering freezing her eggs.

She said: “My friend talked about it and I've looked into it, I want to know a lot more.”

Katya has rejoined the dance show with her ex and has already started training.

Neil and Katya met in Blackpool in 2008 and became dance partners before marrying in 2013 and joining Strictly in 2016.

Of their ongoing friendship, Ms Jones said: “We lived a life together. It was him and me against the world.”

“We were the only people who were there for each other. Of course there is a deeper connection that you can't just throw away.”
