Altus Police Investigate Domestic Incident That Resulted in Head-On Collision

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – Altus police are investigating a domestic violence call that resulted in a head-on collision Wednesday evening.

According to Altus Police, an investigation revealed that a male suspect forced a female victim into a vehicle in the 200 block of North Park Lane and left the home.

According to Altus police, before the crash, a juvenile approached a driver and stated that his mother was being beaten by her boyfriend in front of their home on Elder Avenue.

According to Altus police, the suspect intentionally caused the head-on collision with another vehicle not far from the house.

The suspect and victim were both taken to the hospital, with the suspect later flown to an Oklahoma City hospital. The two people in the second vehicle sustained minor injuries.

At the time of publication of this article, the names of those involved in the incident and the accident have not yet been released.
