Verdicts on murder and suicide after shooting and car crash on Monday in Leo-Cedarville

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The deaths of a Leo-Cedarville couple found shot to death in a car on Tonkel Road Monday have been ruled a homicide or suicide, the Allen County coroner's office said Thursday.

Nicole Danielle Beason, 41, died of a gunshot wound to the head. Her death was ruled a homicide.

She is the 25th murder victim in Allen County this year.

Robert Glenn Beason, 44, also died of a gunshot wound to the head. His death was ruled a suicide.

The incident remains under investigation by the Allen County Police Department, District Attorney's Office and Coroner's Office.
