Couple arrested on drug and weapons charges in Georgetown County.

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) – The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office said a couple was arrested on drug charges in connection with a recent shooting.

Samuel Adam Robinson, 42, and Tiffany Robinson, 34, are charged with methamphetamine trafficking, sheriff's office spokesman Jason Lesley said. Samuel is additionally charged with possession of ammunition by a prohibited person after officers found firearms items.

Officers arrested the couple at their Keever Street home on Thursday after drug agents obtained a search warrant.

During the search, officers found “commercial quantities” of a substance believed to be meth and other drug paraphernalia, according to Lesley.

Details of the shooting were not disclosed.

The couple was remanded to the Georgetown County Detention Center pending a bail hearing.
