Will Ospreay talks about the incident between MJF and Britt Baker

– While speaking with Joseph Staszewski of the New York Post, AEW star Will Ospreay addressed recent rumors about a backstage incident between Dr. Britt Baker and MJF that occurred on the 250th episode of AEW Dynamite last month. It is also rumored that Ospreay intervened and at one point spoke to Baker, who reportedly expressed his derision that the Ospreay vs. MJF match was given so much time on Dynamite.

According to Ospreay, the incident was “the most exaggerated event I have ever experienced in my entire life.” Ospreay reportedly did not want to comment specifically on the incident because he did not know exactly what was being reported.

The wrestler continued: “I'm just trying to bring people together as a team. That's all I can say. I'm fully aware that people don't like each other backstage. I know there are people backstage that I don't like. My goal is that going forward, we all have to be a team. We all have to look out for each other.” Ospreay also praised his boss, AEW President Tony Khan, stating: “He [Khan] He has so much admiration and respect from me that I am willing to go to extremes and bend to whatever shape he asks of me so that AEW can grow and succeed.”

Ospreay will challenge MJF in a rematch for the AEW American Championship later this weekend at AEW All In: London 2024. The event is scheduled for Sunday, August 25 at Wembley Stadium in London and will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
