Man and woman arrested for running a drug house in Alanson

EMMET COUNTY, Michigan (WPBN/WGTU) — A man and woman were arrested for running a drug house in Alanson, according to Michigan State Police.

The identities of the 30-year-old man and 24-year-old woman were not released pending their arraignment.

State police said law enforcement executed a search warrant on a residence in Alanson on Wednesday.

“Investigators seized methamphetamine, ketamine, clonazepam tablets, lorazepam tablets, suboxone tablets, hydrocodone tablets, suspected LSD and evidence of distribution including digital scales, cash and baggies,” state police said.

The man and woman were arrested on the following charges:

  • Possession with intent to sell methamphetamine
  • Possession with intent to deliver ketamine
  • Possession of Clonazepam
  • Possession of Lorazepam
  • Possession of Suboxone
  • Possession of hydrocodone
  • Operating a drug house
  • Using a computer to commit a crime

The man was released on $10,000 bail and the woman was released on $5,000 bail.

Both will be brought to trial at a later date.
