Bears player Larry Borom carried off the field with leg injury – NBC Sports Chicago

Bears tackle Larry Borom was carried off the field in the first quarter of the final preseason game against the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. The tackle appeared to have injured his leg on the turf.

It's unfortunate timing for Borom – who is on the verge of being injured – to suffer an injury. Borom was in pole position to become the team's swing tackle while remaining a key pillar in the room behind Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright.

This season is Borom's fourth with the Bears. Last season, he played in 16 games, starting six of them. The Bears originally drafted him out of Mizzou in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

We will update this story as more details become available.
