Deadly shooting in Bedford-Stuyvesant: 15-year-old boy arrested and charged with murder of man in Brooklyn, NYC

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn (WABC) — Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection with the fatal shooting of a man outside a home in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

The boy is accused of murder and two counts of illegal possession of a firearm in connection with the shooting.

Police responded to 751 Monroe Street on Wednesday afternoon, where NYPD officers found 54-year-old Darryl McMillan of Queens with a gunshot wound to the chest.

First responders took the victim to Kings County Hospital in critical condition, where he died a short time later.

Investigators are still trying to determine the motive for the shooting.
