When authorities arrived, four juveniles, ages 10, 14, 15 and 16, had been shot. Three of them had injuries to their extremities and one had an abdominal injury.

All four teenagers were taken to hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the three suspects arrived at a home and family members saw them outside approaching with weapons and attempting to get inside.

According to police, the suspects then ordered people to come out of the house, whereupon the front door was finally opened.

Authorities said two of the suspects fired their weapons into the home.

Howard said the three suspects, possibly teenagers and masked, fled the scene after the shooting.

Police believe the shooting was a targeted attack and not a coincidence.

The shooting remains under investigation.
