“The War of the Rohirrim”, the first animated feature film in over two years

Warner Bros., a studio that has developed an aversion to releasing animated films for cinema, has released a trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrimwhich would be his first theatrical release in over two years.

The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on December 13, 2024, through the New Line Cinema label. Internationally, the film will be released on December 11. Notably, it is produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the company's television and direct-to-video division, rather than the animation film group Warner Bros. Pictures Animation. Japanese studio Sola Entertainment produced the film.
