Corning resident arrested for possession of child sexual abuse material

A Corning man was arrested following a New York State Police investigation for possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.

Nicholas A. Faulisi, 35, was arrested on October 1, 2023, after authorities discovered, through a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, that Faulisi had viewed and shared approximately 6,000 photos and videos depicting child sexual abuse using a mobile messaging app.

Faulisi is charged with multiple crimes, including promoting a sexual performance by a child under 17 and possession of a sexual performance by a child. He was transported to the Steuben County Jail for arraignment under the CAP Act.
