Spartigras

If you are passionate about media, looking for ways to express yourself, or just want to have fun, come to the University Media Board (UMB) on Saturday, August 24th from 6-11 p.m. for an evening of games, food, and prizes at Spartigras in the Thwing Center.

The UMB organizations work with all media – from journalism to theater and film to radio.

Members of UMB organizations are available to answer questions, present their work, and meet new members.

Students can get a T-shirt, win a teddy bear (UMBear), play carnival games and make souvenirs during the event.

Featured clubs include the CWRU yearbook, satirical and literary magazines, a film studio, and a student research journal. This event is open to all freshmen and transfer students.
