Officials identify man killed in shooting at The Office bar in Colerain Township

A man killed in a triple shooting at a Colerain Township bar early Thursday morning has been identified, according to Hamilton County coroner's records.

Colerain Township police responded shortly after midnight to a report of a shooting at The Office bar on Springdale Road.

Officers found three victims and took them to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment, police said. The medical examiner's office said one of the victims died of apparent homicide.

On Friday, the medical examiner identified 41-year-old Christopher Potter as the person fatally wounded in the shooting.

The other two victims suffered serious injuries, but these were not considered life-threatening, police said.

Officials said the investigation into the shooting is ongoing. While no information has been released about a possible suspect, police believe the shooting was an “isolated and targeted incident” that resulted from an argument.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Colerain Township Police Department at 513-321-2677.
