Angelina Jolie shows off her famous pout in Tom Ford's new lipstick campaign

Angelina Jolie delighted her fans when she was announced as the face of Tom Ford's new lipstick campaign on Instagram on Friday morning – and she brought her signature full lips to work for the stunning photos.

The 49-year-old human rights activist wears Tom Ford's Runway Lip Color ($62) in Scarlet Rouge in the ads and looks seriously pouty at the camera in the shot shared on social media.

In the photo, she is wearing a sleek blow-dried hairstyle, a sleeveless black dress, and lounging on a red leather sofa.

“Always iconic. Introducing Angelina Jolie for the new TOM FORD Runway Lip Color in a campaign that brings two icons together,” the brand wrote in its post.

Tom Ford Beauty called Jolie “an incorrigible trailblazer,” adding that the Oscar winner “drives her personal story forward with strength, confidence and an uncompromising commitment to self-expression.”

The Atelier Jolie founder is also seen in a second close-up shot, showing a cropped photo of her pouty red lips partially covered by her hair.

In a press release, Tom Ford Beauty announced that the full campaign – photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott – will launch on September 3 and “shows Jolie studying for a role, a character who loves the camera almost as much as the camera loves her.”

According to the brand, the “formula contains a moisturizing complex that nourishes lips with luscious softness and rich, fade-resistant color” and will launch in eight new shades in September.

Fans were thrilled by the announcement on Friday, with one commenting: “Most iconic lips ever ❤️ and they're natural.”

“The original lip queen 👄 👸,” proclaimed another social media user, while a third wrote, “She has the best lips in the world 🌏.”

Although it's been a while since we last saw Jolie modeling, she's been busy launching her new brand Atelier Jolie. Tom Ford Beauty praised her efforts to “empower people to participate in creating their own fashion, with a focus on sustainability.”
