Dickson County jail warden charged with sexual contact with inmates

NASHVILLE, Tennessee – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has arrested a Dickson County jail guard on suspicion of having sexual contact with inmates.

TBI reports that 41-year-old Calvin Wayne Lewis was charged on Thursday, followed by his arrest and detention in the very same jail where the charges are believed to have been filed.

According to the TBI, Lewis was a guard at the Dickson County Jail where he allegedly had sexual contact with female inmates. He was charged with three counts of sexual contact with a female inmate and was booked into jail on $25,000 bail.

The Dickson County Sheriff's Office reports that Lewis was fired following an internal investigation.
