The sequel series “Max” combines a fascinating true crime story

The Curse: Part 2

As a quick refresher: the final moments of the first season finale of The Jinx In “The 40th Anniversary,” filmmaker and documentary maker Andrew Jarecki caught the slimy Durst in a sticky situation. With the cards stacked against him and the evidence on the table as clear as day, Durst had nowhere to hide—so he just went to the bathroom instead. While washing his hands, the show’s protagonist seemed to forget he had a microphone on, inadvertently implicating himself in the crimes and setting The Curse: Part 2 muttering a confession that he had “killed them all.”

This is the first season of The Jinx ended, and if you haven't been following Robert Durst's case in the headlines, you may not know what happened next. That's exactly what the team is investigating during The Curse: Part 2 as they continue with the episodes after the credits of the season one finale.
