Two people killed in head-on collision in Scott Township identified

Janir J. Rodriguez-Montoya, 28, of Green Bay, and Jorge E. Herrera-Salgado, 32, of Denmark were killed in the crash near State 54 and St. Kilian Road. Rodriguez-Montoya was driving the vehicle while Herrera-Salgado was a passenger.

The driver of the pickup truck involved in the accident was identified as Aaron Heim from Luxembourg.

Officers were dispatched to the scene of the crash at 5:22 a.m. Monday. The sheriff's office said an eastbound vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a westbound pickup truck. Heim suffered serious injuries, while Rodrigues-Montoya and Herrera-Salgado were pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation by the Brown County Sheriff's Office Accident Reconstruction Unit.
