Cherry's scheduled bail hearing has been postponed until next week.

A look at Cherry's court records shows that the murders were part of a series of violent crimes Cherry is alleged to have committed in June and July.

On June 24, Cherry was accused of attacking a supermarket employee with a knife in Baltimore City.

Two days later, on June 26, he was accused of stabbing a co-worker eight times as the victim was distributing free supplies at East Baltimore Medical Center.

According to records, an arrest warrant was issued for Cherry in that case on July 1, four days before investigators say he entered the home of Autumn Harvey and Iona Sellers and murdered the two women.

In charging documents, county police later used and compared evidence collected in that case to identify Cherry as a suspect in the Middle River double homicide.

FOX45 News also found that the four violent crimes occurred while Cherry was on parole. He faces a felony charge of drug possession with intent to traffic in Baltimore City in 2023.

Cherry's trial was scheduled for July 22.

FOX45 News questioned further details about Cherry's pre-trial release.

A spokesman for the city's district attorney's office referred the investigation to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Corrections.
