The child, whose name was not disclosed, became ill in the park over the weekend.

Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident and the boy was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, where he was pronounced dead.

Flip Out was closed as police and city officials began investigating the tragedy.

Police said the boy's death was unexplained, but there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Flip Out said that all investigations into the incident had now been completed and that authorities had indicated that the event could resume.

The park management announced that the reopening will take place tomorrow.

A statement on Flip Out Glasgow's Facebook page said: “Police Scotland and South Lanarkshire Council environmental health officers have completed their investigations and confirmed that Flip Out Glasgow will be able to reopen from 10am on Saturday 24 August.”

“Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the 10-year-old boy who fell ill at Flip Out Glasgow last weekend and later died at the Royal Hospital for Children.”

A South Lanarkshire Council spokesman told STV News: “Environmental Services officials have completed their investigation into the tragic incident that occurred at Flip Out last weekend and have advised the business that it can reopen when it is ready.”

It was expected that the park would remain closed for up to a week for the duration of the investigation.

This came as the tragic boy's school in South Lanarkshire paid their last respects following his tragic death.

They said the news of his death was “heartbreaking” for everyone at the school, whose name was not disclosed.

They added that he “touched the lives of all employees with his humor, joy and curiosity.”

A spokesman for the boy's school said: “We are deeply shocked and saddened to share the heartbreaking news of the sudden death of one of our students.”

“He was a smart and valued member of our school community. He touched the lives of all staff with his humor, joy and curiosity.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this incredibly difficult time.

“He will be missed very much and will forever have a special place in our hearts.”
