Henry Taylor releases his new single “I've Got the Guns”

Henry Taylor is a Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario-based singer-songwriter with five studio albums under his belt and recent collaborations with award-winning songwriters in Nashville, Tennessee. He just released his latest single: “I have the weapons.”

Henry's music is primarily considered Americana – a mixture of rock, blues, folk and country. He is currently working on his sixth studio album between Kitchener-Waterloo and Nashville, where he and his long-time songwriting partner and lyricist Monique Montgomery are co-authors of renowned Nashville songwriters Cory Lee Barker, Mark BarnowskiAnd Richard Trest.

During his career, Henry Taylor played in some of Canada’s most famous music venues, including the ModClub, Lee's Palace, The Rivoli, The Cameron House, The Dakota TavernThe El Mocamboand the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern.

Montgomery says about the new song:

“This song is definitely about Henry. He often tries to impress me with his manly physique and he is quite a manly specimen. I thought I could joke around a bit as he is also very affectionate and gentlemanly. I guess we all want to be appreciated for more than just 'the guns' – but in the end you have to show off your most impressive assets.”
