Trump at the border: Violent crimes committed by foreigners are a “nation-destroying border invasion”

By BETHANY BLANKLEY | THE CENTER SQUARE

During a press conference in southern Arizona with the families of murder victims allegedly killed by aliens living in the United States illegally, former President Donald Trump accused Vice President Kamala Harris of overseeing an invasion of the southern border.

Harris “oversaw a nation-destroying border invasion,” Trump said at the Arizona-Mexico border.

Harris officially accepted the Democratic nomination for president on Thursday night at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. She did so after President Joe Biden was forced from office in a “coup,” Trump said at his press conference.

“For nearly four years, Comrade Kamala … allowed at least 20 million people, all illegal aliens, into our country, including millions upon millions of unscreened fighting-age men from over 158 different countries,” Trump said. According to Center Square, the number of illegal border crossings is more than 12.5 million.

Because of Biden-Harris GuidelinesBorder Patrol agents “are being forced to release tens of thousands of illegal immigrants from custody week after week. These are the most violent criminals you will ever see. Every day brings a new story of innocent Americans being tortured, raped, murdered and massacred by illegal immigrants that Kamala Harris has released into our country.”

Trump described the criminals released into the country and the types of crimes they committed in their home countries or in the United States. These include a Peruvian gang leader wanted for 23 counts of murder; “an illegal immigrant who approached two 13-year-old girls in broad daylight in New York City in front of other people with a machete, drove them into the woods, tied their wrists together and raped them repeatedly.”

Migrants were just arrested “for the rape of a 46-year-old woman in Coney Island, throwing her to the ground and raping her with a knife to her throat,” he said. “One of them had previously been arrested for the rape of another woman, but instead of deporting him, he was released into our country and told to enjoy his life.”

In Fort Wayne, Indiana, “a woman who was offered a ride home by two illegal immigrants was instead kidnapped, held captive, raped and then driven around while the illegals discussed how they were going to kill her. They didn't want a witness,” Trump said. She escaped by throwing herself out of the moving car.

Trump also described a crime in the Bronx allegedly committed by “an illegal immigrant that Kamala sent into the country, [who] approached a 36-year-old woman and pretended to ask for directions before putting his arms around her neck, pushing her onto a park bench and raping her in public. She said: “He didn't want to rape me, he wanted to kill me.”

The former president also described the sexual assault of two young girls in Michigan by an illegal border crosser; the murder of a 54-year-old mother of four in Virginia who was killed by “an illegal alien who tried to steal her car” and who “ran her over, ran her over and left her dead on the ground”; and a Venezuelan “illegal alien who was allowed into the country by Comrade Kamala.” [who] shot a policewoman several times with a rifle in Texas.”

Trump described the murder of Laken Riley, a nursing student at the University of Georgia who was “attacked, beaten and brutally murdered. Kamala Harris allowed the illegal alien animal that murdered Laken into the country. This monster was in Border Patrol custody. They wouldn't let him go, but according to Kamala's policy, he was released to kill, and that's what he did.”

“Kamala released this bloodthirsty killer and then he murdered the beautiful Laken.”

Trump also described “the heartbreaking story of Rachel Moran,” whose family members accompanied him and spoke at the press conference. Rachel was “brutally raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant allowed into the United States by Kamala Harris and her policies of stupidity. The savage human who committed this heinous crime first killed another woman in El Salvador before crossing our open border,” before allegedly Commit a burglary in Los Angeles.

“Biden-Harris have brought a deadly plague of migrant crime to our country” that has “destroyed the lives of so many families and stolen so many incredible young lives,” Trump said.

“We can't let it happen to other people. We can't let what you're going through happen to other families,” he said to the Angel families who joined him. One was 12-year-old murder victim from Houston Jocelyn Nungaray's mother, who supported Trump. The victims were killed “without any reason” by “hardened, hardened criminals who are pouring into our country,” he said.

Trump rejected claims by some Democrats and news agencies that illegal aliens “don't commit crimes like the people who live here.”

Center Square has been reporting for years on Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents pursuing, arresting and deporting criminals and fugitives living in the country illegally. In the 2021 to 2023 fiscal years alone, ICE agents arrested more than 387,000 criminal non-citizens, Breaking records in the 2023 fiscal year. The majority came from Mexico, Nicaragua, Colombia and Venezuela.

“They make our criminals look like babies,” Trump said. “Our criminals suddenly don't look so tough. These are the toughest people in the world.”
