Well, it looks like Brave and beautiful goes the shock-and-awe route when it comes to crime dramas. And boy, did it work this week! We started with an inappropriate kiss and ended with something that looked pretty much like… well, let's talk about what it looked like, okay?

Come on, come on… not so fast!

When Steffy started talking about leaving town, I didn't understand. I should have understood, but I didn't. All I could think was that if my enemy had kissed my husband, my mother had just returned, and my company was in trouble, I certainly wouldn't pack up my things and leave!

But of course, Steffy was never meant to actually leave. It was just to set up that incredible Friday cliffhanger where she barges in on Luna and ends up drinking spoiled tea. I mean, there are few bigger cliffhangers than, “Did Luna just kill Steffy?”

Lady in a cage

I think we all know that Steffy isn't going to die…especially since she was seen in a cage in next week's scenes. But we also know that Luna and Poppy's apartment is in a building that's slated for demolition…and everyone thinks Steffy went off to clear her head!

More: Look who's coming back Brave and beautiful!

The real questions don't necessarily revolve around Steffy's fate, but rather Luna's actions. Did she really kill Tom and Hollis and then pin the blame on her mother? And are we supposed to believe that she faked the first paternity test? And if so, to what end?

I have to admit one thing: This is not 100 percent how I imagined the story to turn out and I couldn't be happier about it. Brave and beautiful The actions are as predictable as me failing algebra.

Random Thoughts

• They couldn't have tried harder to make sure everyone knew who NuTaylor was and how she fit into the bigger picture. There were a lot of bad lines like, “Of course Brooke Logan's daughter kisses my daughter's husband.”

• Speaking of kissing, I found it incredibly amusing how Steffy kept saying, “Her lips touched yours?” Yes, Steffy, that’s a kiss.

• Oh, and am I imagining it or is it extremely hypocritical of Steffy to attack Finn for letting Hope “kiss” him when she still hasn’t told her handsome husband that Liam gave her not one, but two unwanted kisses!
