Sindh government announces financial support for victims of tragic bus accident in Iran – Pakistan

The Sindh government has stepped up efforts to provide financial support to affected families after 28 Pakistanis were killed in a bus accident in Iran.

Provincial Minister Nasir Shah announced that the families of the victims will receive compensation of Rs 5 million each, while the injured passengers will be provided Rs 1 million each.

Many people lost their lives in the accident. The bodies of the victims were transported to different parts of Pakistan.

A special aircraft transported 28 bodies to Jacobabad, from where the remains of ten victims were brought to Larkana.

In Kandh Kot, a funeral prayer was held for six of the deceased pilgrims and the grieving families paid their last respects by laying floral garlands on the bodies.

The bodies of four victims have reached Khairpur, where a collective funeral prayer will be held at Nazpilot School at 9 a.m.

The seriously injured passengers are being flown to Karachi for further medical treatment while authorities work to provide aid and support to the affected communities.
