Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Rondale Moore will miss the 2024 NFL season after being placed on the injured list on Thursday with a knee injury.

The Falcons ended practice early on Wednesday after Moore suffered the injury during a joint practice with the Miami Dolphins, ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques reported. Moore was carried off the field with an aircast on his right leg.

According to Miles Garrett of Fox 5 Atlanta, Moore apparently suffered a non-contact injury while running a route.

Moore, who was signed in March via a trade from the Arizona Cardinals, was competing for the third spot on the Falcons' receiver list behind Drake London and Darnell Mooney.

Ray-Ray McCloud III appeared to be the favorite for that role at the start of training camp, although Moore has been getting more playing time with the Falcons' top team recently, according to team reporter Terrin Waack.

Last season, Moore appeared in 17 games for the Cardinals, recording 40 catches for 352 yards and one touchdown.

He also had 28 rushing attempts for 178 rushing yards and a touchdown, making him the first wide receiver in Cardinals history to reach triple-digit rushing yards in a single season.
