Fargo teenager arrested for Moorhead murder to be extradited to Minnesota – InForum

CASS COUNTY, N.D. — A Fargo teenager accused of killing a Moorhead girl is returning to Minnesota to face murder charges.

Isaac Arndt, 18, waived extradition at a hearing on Friday after being arrested earlier this week.

According to police, Ardnt confessed to stabbing his ex-girlfriend, 14-year-old Jaelyn Walker, more than a dozen times during an argument about their breakup on Monday, August 19. He was arrested early Tuesday morning.

According to the original complaint, Arndt is charged with second-degree premeditated murder, a crime that carries a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison.

According to authorities, police now have ten days to bring Arndt to Moorhead.
