RFK Jr. is accused of dealing cocaine at Harvard University – former classmate speaks out

A former classmate of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at Harvard University accused him of selling cocaine as a student.

This explosive claim came from author Kurt Andersen in a scathing column for The Atlantic on Friday.

Kennedy had previously suspended his presidential campaign for a third party and supported the Republican candidate Donald Trump.

Andersen claimed that as a Harvard student in the 1970s, he bought cocaine from RFK Jr. and his brother Joseph P. Kennedy II for $40 in a dorm room.

“At some point in my freshman year, I tried cocaine, liked it, and later decided to get a gram for myself,” Andersen said. “A friend told me about a boy in our class who sold coke. The dealer was Bobby Kennedy.”

The author claimed that he contacted RFK Jr. and asked him to come to his room in the Hurlbut dormitory, which the nephew of Democratic President John F. Kennedy shared with future journalist Peter Kaplan.

'[RFK Jr.] “He poured me a line to try and handed me a 1.5-inch plastic straw. I snorted. We chatted for a minute. I think I paid him $40 in cash,” Andersen said.

“That was a lot of money, the equivalent of $300 today. But buying cocaine from a Kennedy who was accompanied by a Kennedy brother – the glamorous moment seemed worth it.”

The author claimed that he accidentally took the straw used to sample the product from the dorm, and Kennedy called him and demanded that he return it.

“I took it to his room. He didn't smile or say thank you. That was the last time I ever bought Coke from anyone,” he said.

Andersen said he decided to share his experiences because of RFK Jr.'s support for Trump.

'If [Trump] If he becomes president, as Kennedy is doing now, he wants to start executing drug traffickers. He said this in a speech as president in 2018, he said.He said this again in 2022 when he announced his current candidacy.'

The book “Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the Dark Side of Dreams” describes in detail his long history of “compulsions and addictions,” which goes back to his youth.

At just 14 years old, he began burying his anger and grief in marijuana and psychedelics and soon turned to hard drugs, including heroin.

His first, but not last, drug-related arrest came a few months after he was expelled from one of his private schools for drug offenses.

Decades before marijuana became legal in many states across the country, he was arrested on Cape Cod in August 1970 for marijuana possession, along with the son of JFK's sister, Eunice Kennedy Shriver.

When he was 29, RFK Jr. overdosed on a flight and was found by police with heroin. He was charged with heroin possession and ordered to perform hundreds of hours of community service and stay within the borders of New York State.
