Oshi no Ko Chapter 159: Release Date and Spoiler Speculations

After the shocking twist in last week's chapter, everyone is looking forward to Chapter 159 of “Oshi no Ko” – here's when the chapter will be released and what to expect next.

Ever since Oshi no Ko revealed the story's final villain in Chapter 155, everyone has been expecting something shocking to happen. But no one saw the brutal twist in Chapter 158 coming. In this chapter, Ruby, like Ai, is stabbed to death by a mysterious attacker.

Apart from that, we learn that Ruby has already surpassed her mother as an idol. Hikaru Kamiki also regrets his actions and plans to turn himself in to the police after finding out Ai's true feelings for him.

This means that his role as the antagonist of the story is over. Now Nino is the one to watch out for, and she has already made the first move. But we will have to wait and see what she does next, as the Oshi no Ko manga is taking a break next week.

Chapter 158 left many questions unanswered that need to be answered in Oshi no Ko chapter 159. After the horrific incident with Ruby, the next chapter will reveal Aqua's reaction to it.

Since he has known about Nino for some time, it is possible that he feels guilty for not taking action against her sooner and allowing Ruby to get hurt. He could also revert to his dark personality where he is single-mindedly seeking revenge.

Another mystery from the previous chapter is the identity of Ruby's attacker. Judging by the events of the chapter and the profile peeking out from under the hood, it is most likely Nino. But given Oshi no Ko's penchant for twists, it could be someone else.

Akane has a similar hairstyle. Additionally, she is given a suspicious amount of screen time in Chapter 158. In her scenes, she muses that Ruby shines brighter than anyone else on the stage, even Kana and Ai.

Akane also reveals to Ruby that she cannot attend her concert in Tokyo and has come to Miyazaki's concert instead. She does not give a reason for this, which makes the situation even more mysterious.

But most importantly, Chapter 159 of Oshi no Ko will reveal if Ruby survives the assassination attempt. If she really dies, it will be the darkest moment in the manga. But maybe she will survive, since she is the deuteragonist of the series.
