Famous New Jersey hotspot celebrates 80th anniversary

You don't find something like this every day in New Jersey. A small business that has thrived in the Great Garden State for eight decades under the same family ownership. Sometimes it's just luck, sometimes it's pure strategy.

Before we dive into this famous small business hotspot, let's first take a moment to give a huge shout out to all the small businesses here in New Jersey. To say that it's difficult to survive and thrive in this state is a pure understatement.

I know many small business owners myself. And although some have unfortunately closed their shops, others are still there. One has a restaurant, another a pizzeria. And yes, all of them have survived the pandemic years and come out successfully on the other side.

And both are companies that my family and I often like to give our money to. After all, these small family businesses can't survive without us and it's so satisfying to see them doing well. Especially in small towns or when they're competing against big corporations.

The restaurant we're about to feature is not only a favorite spot for me and my boys to stop at every time we camp in the northwest part of the state, but it's also a very reasonably priced restaurant. That's not easy, given New Jersey's hostile business climate.

The only problem I sometimes have is finding a parking space, that's how popular this little tiny place is. But don't let that put you off, you will find a parking space… trust me.

I absolutely love this place and I know you will love it too if you've never been. Now let's dive in and celebrate 80 years with them here in the Great Garden State.
