New Jersey man charged with sexual abuse of two children

A 45-year-old Middlesex County man was arrested Thursday after being accused of sexually abusing two children, officials said.

Raymond Remus, 45, of Spotswood, has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual battery and endangering the welfare of a child, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office announced Friday.

The agency did not disclose further details about the incident, such as the age of the victims or the location of the alleged attacks.

Remus is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center pending the outcome of his detention hearing.
