Min Yoongi was interrogated for over three hours. Details inside

New Delhi:

South Korean boy band BTS member Suga aka Min Yoongi has been arrested for driving under the influence. In another update on the case, Suga was seen arriving at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul on Friday (August 23). He was interrogated for nearly three hours, My Music Taste reported. The rapper also admitted to the allegations during the interrogation. The 31-year-old apologized for his behavior after the first round of questioning, saying, “I am truly sorry for having become a huge disappointment to many people and our fans. I will cooperate faithfully and fully with the investigation. Once again, I am truly sorry.”

“I want to say that I am so sorry for causing so much pain and disappointment with my wrong actions. I think about it deeply and regret it and will make sure that something like this never happens again,” Suga promised.

When reporters asked Suga about the alcohol content found in his blood (0.227 percent) and the “mixed apologies” from his management agency HYBE, “the pop icon remained silent,” the report continued.

On August 6, police found Suga lying on a street in Hannam-dong after he fell off an electric scooter, All K-pop reported. A breathalyzer test confirmed that the BTS member was under the influence of alcohol, the report added.

Big Hit Music, the agency that manages BTS, issued an official apology soon after the incident, Hindustan Times reported. An excerpt from the statement read: “We apologize for the disappointment caused by the inappropriate behavior of our artist. SUGA will accept all disciplinary action from his workplace as a social worker for causing public concern.”

Suga is currently completing his mandatory community service.
