Alma: In June, Alma, a legal AI startup focused on simplifying immigration procedures, announced that it had raised $5.1 million, the company's CEO and founder Aizada Marat said in a LinkedIn post. The funding round included participation from Bling Capital, Forerunner, Village Global, NFX, Conviction, MVP Ventures, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), and Skillroad Innovation Hub. The startup aims to simplify the visa process for technologists, founders, and researchers by providing personal legal advisors and speeding up document processing, TechCrunch reports.
