Hamas terrorist Taha Abu Nada killed in IDF attack on Gaza

An Israeli Air Force plane attacked and eliminated Hamas terrorist Taha Abu Nada, the IDF said on Saturday.

The attack was reportedly carried out based on intelligence information from Military Intelligence.

According to the military, Nada was an employee of Hamas's weapons production center and was responsible for the production of military ammunition and weapons equipment.

Separately, Israeli forces began a “targeted operation against terrorist infrastructure” in the Gaza City area on Friday and succeeded in eliminating both Hamas terrorists and the infrastructure used by the terror organization, the military added.

Nada's elimination followed the killing of Hamas terrorist Muhammad Salah in June, who the Israeli military said was a “significant” terrorist at Hamas' weapons production headquarters.

Activities in southern Gaza

In addition, Israeli troops attacked and killed dozens of Hamas fighters in close combat in the Tel al-Sultan camp in Rafah province in the south of the Gaza Strip on Friday and Saturday morning, the Israeli military said.

The Israeli military also said it had encountered several terrorists in the Tel al-Sultan area who were near troops stationed there. Soldiers there also reportedly “dismantled” a building where weapons were stored.
