3 dead in three-vehicle accident in Hatboro: Police

Three people have died after a horrific accident occurred in Hatboro on Friday, according to police.

At approximately 6:35 p.m., Hatboro Police responded to a report of a vehicle crash involving entrapment in the area of ​​County Line Road and Park Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found that three vehicles were involved in the accident. They said one of the vehicles had flipped onto its roof.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a Chevy Camaro, driven by a 31-year-old man, was traveling westbound on County Line Road and entered the eastbound lanes, where it collided with an eastbound Nissan SUV.

According to police, the Nissan was driven by a 69-year-old woman, and the third vehicle, a Hyundai, was traveling east behind the Nissan and was also involved in the crash.

According to police, the 31-year-old driver of the Camaro was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Two passengers in the Camaro were extricated from the vehicle and taken to Jefferson Abington Hospital.

One of the passengers, a 31-year-old woman, succumbed to her injuries and was later pronounced dead in hospital.

The second passenger, a 23-year-old woman, suffered serious injuries and her condition is classified as critical.

The 69-year-old driver of the Nissan was also pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the Hyundai was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center and is in stable condition.
