EYE ON CRIME: Police ask for help in the search for robbery and shoplifting suspects

Winnipeg Crime Stoppers is asking the public for help in locating a suspect in a home robbery and another suspect in a shoplifting case. Crime Stoppers has released photos to gather clues.

On August 14, an unknown individual broke into the garage at the rear of a residence in the 1000 block of Sherburn and stole various items. When confronted by the homeowner, the suspect brandished a gun in a threatening manner and then fled the area on the bicycle he had just stolen.

On September 19, 2023, at a retail store in the 400 block of River, an unknown individual began selecting merchandise and concealing it in a bag he was carrying. The suspect then left the store without attempting to pay for the merchandise.
