Case of missing 14-year-old girl is ‘suspicious,’ Burlington police say

Burlington police are searching for a missing 14-year-old girl who reportedly disappeared under suspicious circumstances.

On Friday, Burlington Police received a call about a missing person. The person was identified as Mya Savannah Johnson, a 14-year-old girl from Burlington. Johnson is a black female, 5'5″ tall and weighs 180 pounds. She has black afro hair and brown eyes.

Johnson was last seen around 4:45 p.m. Friday in the Brooklyn Street area of ​​Burlington. She was wearing a black shirt and black spandex pants. Johnson was last seen getting into a black Hyundai Veloster, which drove off in an unknown direction. Johnson has cognitive impairment.
