AAP accuses BJP and CBI of conspiracy to keep Kejriwal in jail

Kejriwal has filed two separate petitions challenging the denial of bail and his arrest by the CBI in the case.

The CBI, in its detailed affidavit in response to Kejriwal's petition challenging his arrest, claimed that all critical decisions in formulating the now-scrapped excise policy were taken at the behest of the Delhi Chief Minister and in connivance with the then Deputy Chief Minister Sisodia.

In a press conference, AAP leader and Delhi Minister Atishi said, “The CBI affidavit was there, but lies were told in the Supreme Court just to keep Arvind Kejriwal in jail for a few more days.”

“The question arises as to how the affidavit, which took the CBI a week to prepare, was printed in all the newspapers. This means that the CBI is planning to keep him in jail.”
