CBI conducts lie detector test on Sandeep Ghosh and others

The CBI on Saturday conducted a lie detector test on six persons, including Sandeep Ghosh, in connection with the Kolkata rape and murder case in which the semi-naked body of the trainee doctor was found in the auditorium of the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on August 9. Among the names is Sandeep Ghosh, former principal of the institute, whom the CBI interrogated for over 100 hours on eight consecutive days.

The remaining six people, including former school principal Sandip Ghosh, four doctors who were on duty on the night of the incident and a volunteer, were tested at the authority's office, officials said.

Former school principal Sandeep Ghosh was asked around 25 questions in the CBI's lie detector test. Reportedly, they were unnecessary questions like 'What colour is the sky?' or 'What day is it?'. All these questions are also asked in the lie detector test to confuse the accused.
