Two defendants arrested in fatal shooting in San Diego

CAMDEN – A man accused of a fatal July 21 shooting in Camden and a woman who allegedly helped him escape arrest were arrested by U.S. Marshals in San Diego, Camden police said.

Dorrian Cunningham was wanted for first-degree murder in connection with the shooting that killed Jontavion Higgs, Camden police said in a news release.

Cunningham is also charged with first-degree terroristic threatening and intimidation of a witness.

Alexia Radford was wanted for hindering apprehension.

In response to the shooting on July 21 at 12:42 a.m., police were dispatched to Grinstead Street and Union Avenue and saw Higgs in the street.

He was taken to Ouachita County Medical Center where he died.

On Thursday, Camden police said they had been notified that Cunningham and Radford had been arrested in San Diego, where they were awaiting extradition to Arkansas.
